Dear Writers and Artists,
The No Tokens Young Poets’ Prize and the Issue 11 general reading period is now open.
We look forward to spending time with your work!
No Tokens Editorial Team
GENERAL: Simultaneous submissions are acceptable. We cannot accept previously published work. Please include your name and contact information on the first page of your submission. If you have already been published in NO TOKENS, kindly wait one submission period before submitting again. NO TOKENS acquires first publication rights and rights revert to author upon publication. When reprinted we kindly ask that you mention NO TOKENS as being the first to publish the work. Submissions have always been, and will always remain, free.
POETRY: Please include up to 5 poems in a single document. If you need to withdraw a poem from your submission, kindly add a note to your submission stating which poem needs to be withdrawn. Please submit no more than once per submission cycle.
*PLEASE NOTE: Because several editors read each of our submissions, your submission will not be “assigned” to a single editor. On submittable, assignment is the action that most often changes the status of your submission from “received” to “in progress.” This means that your submission will likely read “received” even after it has been read by one or more editors. A status of “received” on your submission does not indicate that it remains unopened.
This is a poetry prize open to all poets ages eighteen and under. First, second & third place prizes will be awarded to three poems in the amount of $300, $200 and $100, respectively—selected by the No Tokens editorial team. The three prize winning poems will be published in No Tokens, Issue 11. Please submit up to five poems in a single document. Submissions will close May 1st. Good luck, poets; you are the future and we're paying attention!
